The
best workout music will provide you with instant strength gains during
your workout. These instant strength gains translate into you lifting
heavier weight for more reps. And this translates into you building
more muscle!
The right workout music will help you build muscle and burn fat faster
than ever before.
So, what is the best workout music to help you get better results in
the gym?
The Best
Workout Music
Provides an Emotional Response
Music
can provide an emotional response. For example, when you are at a
funeral and hear a song that brings back a fond memory of the person
that has passed away, you get emotional. It could be funny and make you
laugh or sad and make you cry.
Music does influence our
moods. If you can pick your favorite music that brings the right
emotional response, you can gain instant strength!
For
example, I once went to a concert in which the song Walk by Pantera
started playing being sets. The entire crowd went crazy. I could
feel the amazing amount of energy from the crowd. I use that
song
now during my weight lifting workout to recall all of that
energy
from that crowd!
Any
music that brings back a memory or gives you motivation to lift harder
and heavier is the best workout music. This means that there is no list
of songs that works for everyone. Everyone will have their own personal
list of songs that bring an emotional response.
My Favorite Workout Music
The
type of music that works best for my weight lifting workout is heavy
metal and country music. I know it's a weird combination, but I grew up
listening to country music so it brings back a lot of memories that
trigger an emotional response for me.
I grew to love heavy
metal music over the past few years. If I had to choose a category of
music, I would have to say that heavy metal music is the absolute best
workout music because it is great at making you want to lift more
weight. Sometimes I just want to destroy the weights when listening to
heavy metal.
My Personal
Top Workout Songs
- Pantera - Walk
- Lamb of God - Ashes of the Wake
- Cradle of Filth - Hallowed be thy Name

Maybe on some and maybe none. Music is personal. Everyone has a
different taste in music! My favorite music has changed throughout the
