How do
you Build Muscle Fast?
Building muscle fast is actually very simple if
you have a good weight
lifting program, you understand that you need a calorie
surplus to build muscle, and you know that resting is when the true
muscle growth occurs!
Weight lifting will break muscle down, while rest and diet
will help to build your muscle larger than its previous
size!
You see? All you have to do to build muscle fast is
lift progressively heavier weights to break muscle down, eat a large
amount of food so that you have a calorie surplus, and rest to build
more muscle!

need to have a plan or a strategy for each muscle building cycle. I
will help you develop your muscle building strategy throughout this

A Good
Weight Lifting Program
A good weight lifting program will have you
progressively lift heavier weights over several weeks while increasing
your calorie intake as you progress throughout your weight lifting
cycle. You have to give your body a stimulus to let it know that it
needs to build more muscle. You provide this stimulus by lifting
heavier weights over the weeks.
A good weightlifting program will know when and how
much of a stimulus to provide. A good program will also know when to
back off and give the body time to rest and recover. Fast muscle
building takes time, so don't get in too big of a hurry!
Let's face it, our bodies are not built to take a
beating from weight lifting over and over and over. You have to know
how much your body can handle, and a good weight lifting program will
be designed to work for the general population.
You can't just take
your body to the limits each and every set of every exercise that you
perform during your workout and expect not to overtrain when done every
day of the week! I provide a
general weight lifting program with WLC, but I also provide
personalized programs with my online
personal training. Depending on your answers to my questions,

Many people do take their body to the limits each
and every set, but I guarantee they will overtrain much sooner and lose
precious muscle building opportunities throughout the years. You can
build muscle that way, but your body will eventually give up and shut
down!
You will only lose time because you have to take a break from
weightlifting. That's
definitely not building muscle fast! Learn from my mistakes over the
years. There's no need for you to make the same mistakes I did in my
quest for fast muscle building.
Drug
Free Muscle Building
Weight lifters who decide to use drugs can take
their bodies to the limits repeatedly because the drugs help their
bodies recover quickly. I suggest that you lift weights for health
reasons, so please don't take drugs. They're just not worth it! Don't
turn a healthy habit into an unhealthy one. Drugs will definitely build
muscle fast, but it's just not worth all the risks.
Building muscle fast without drugs is much more fun and challenging! If
you build muscle naturally, this is much more impressive to yourself
and everyone else. Trust me, many bodybuilders who have used drugs
their entire life to build muscle fast would not be successful in
building muscle naturally. Drugs make up for many mistakes!

You will learn how to build

people will accuse you of using drugs just because you know how to
build muscle. They figure that they couldn't build muscle without them,
so there's no way you could do it without them.
Beginner
Muscle Gain
If you're a beginner, you might be able to build
muscle with pretty much any weightlifting program you choose. Fast
muscle building will
occur in beginners!
As you become more advanced, building muscle will get harder and then
you'll really need to learn the correct muscle building techniques.
I suggest you start out right anyway! Who wouldn't want to build even
more muscle from the start?
Many weight lifters will become frustrated because their muscle
building comes to a stop once they reach the end of those beginner
gains. They were never lifting weights correctly, eating right, and
resting
correctly to build muscle in the first place! That's why the muscle
gains stopped.
If you've read much here at WLC, you'll know that
we either focus on building muscle in a cycle or losing fat in a cycle.
We always lift weights for the purpose of getting stronger
and building new muscle. We do not try to lose fat and
build muscle at the same time, though we may get lucky!
We focus on one goal at a time, and if we're
lucky, we will get both. And that will happen many times due to the
great muscle building techniques we have built into the complete weight
lifting program here at WLC. We know how to manipulate every little
factor in your program to give you the best gains of your life!
Got to
have a Calorie Surplus!
So, if you're wanting to build muscle fast you
will focus on muscle building for your weight lifting cycles. This
means you will shoot for weight gains each and every week throughout
your weight lifting cycle. Weight
gain means that you are in a calorie surplus, and I guarantee
if you're on a good weight lifting program you will be building muscle
with every ounce of weight you gain.
If you read the Weight
Lifting Schedule section here at WLC, you will learn that a
weekly assessment is required at the end of every week during your
weight lifting cycle. All you have to do is weigh
yourself and adjust
your diet accordingly. If you're not gaining any weight, you
simply increase your calories. If you're gaining too much weight, you
decrease your calories. You see how simple that is? Too many people
never understand that concept! Now you know. Eat a calorie surplus each
week while lifting progressively heavier weight. That's how you build
muscle fast!
Get your
Rest!
Now you know that you need to lift heavier weights
and eat enough calories to gain weight, but what about rest? Well, you
have to get your rest to build muscle fast! The WLC Program only
requires that you lift weights 3 times per week. That gives you the
rest of the week to rest and build muscle.
You need to ensure that you rest as much as you
can when you're in a muscle building cycle. Everyone is different when
it comes to the required amount of sleep for an individual. I know some
people that can make it on 5 hours of sleep per day and feel great.
Personally, I need much more.
I do well on 7.5 to 8.5 hours of sleep.
It's hard to get a lot of sleep during a long work week sometimes and
especially with a newborn baby, but
I always try to get at least the minimum that I need. I'm sure all of
you have a good idea of the amount of rest you need. For the beginners
out there, lifting weights
will always require more sleep for your body to recover.
One of the tricks I use to get more sleep is to
take a nap on the days that I have time. If I'm really tired from a
lack of sleep the previous night, I will take 45 minutes or so the next
day when I get home from work to take a nap. Sometimes I can and
sometimes I can't. I bought a hot tub a few years ago, and I use that
to help me relax. Then I go straight to the bed and take that nap. Try
it. Naps help much more than you might believe.
