Dumbbell Sets Are A MUST For Any Good Weight Lifting Program

Dumbbell sets can be very expensive (thousands of dollars), but a good set of dumbbells will give you an increased variety of weight lifting exercises to choose from and decrease your workout time.
If you read this page, I'll give you a GREAT option for a great set of dumbbells at a very low price. You actually have no other choice in today's world since the price of steel is absolutelty ridiculous now.
You could pay thousands and thousands of dollars for a dumbbell set that takes up way too much space OR you can spend a few hundred dollars for an adjustable dumbbell set that's quick and easy. Keep reading and I'll tell you more.
Dumbbell
exercises are great for building muscle and building strength. I
actually prefer them over barbell exercises. You get a greater range of
motion and you work each side of your body independently.
If you have a weakness in one side of your body compared to the other, dumbbell exercises are a MUST.
It should be obvious to you that a set of
dumbbells will increase the number of exercises you have available, but
you might be wondering how dumbbells will make your workout faster.
If you've ever used adjustable dumbbells, you will know what I mean with respect to the time aspect.
changing out weights to get the correct dumbbell size for each exercise can get time consuming.
But, it may be worth it to you due to the
outrageous prices of dumbbells. Shipping prices may be the worst of all
because of the heavy weights of dumbbell sets.
Dumbbell exercises with dumbbell sets are also quicker than barbell
exercises because you don't have to change the weights around, add more
weight, take weight off, move the bar to different positions, move the
barbell out of the rack, put all the weight back on the weight tree,
and so on.
As
the saying goes: "Time is money."
Save lots of time with a dumbbell set for your home gym. If you have a home gym or you're planning to build a home gym, a good set of dumbbells is something you've got to have.
A Huge Increase In The Number Of Weight Lifting Exercises You Do
Dumbbells increase the number of exercises because
you can pretty much do every exercise with dumbbells that you can with
a barbell and more. Dumbbells will actually allow you to do many more
exercises than a barbell because you're not restricted by the movement of the barbell.
For example, try doing pinwheel curls for your forearms with a barbell - you can't.
Or try doing incline dumbbell curls with a barbell. The barbell
restricts certain movements.
You can do alternating exercises with dumbbells too. For example, you
can do alternate dumbbell curls in which you lift with your left arm
first and then your right arm or vice versa. There are a variety of
alternating exercises out there that you can only do with a set of
dumbbells.
Dumbbells
also allow you to rotate the weight when you are lifting. This rotation
of the weight is impossible with a barbell and makes some great
exercises.
Decreased Workout Time
A set of dumbbells will allow you to go straight
to the weight you need for your exercise without the need to change any
weight plates or remove weight plates from the barbell.
You'll save time because the weight is already there for you without you having to
get the specific amount of weight ready. Trust me, this is a big plus.
Let's look at an example. Let's say you're using a barbell for incline
barbell bench press and you need 225 pounds on the barbell. You have to
get the weight bench in position and centered directly under the barbell.
You then have to unload the bar if it was already loaded with more
weight than you needed. Then you load the barbell with weight for warm
up sets. After your warm up sets, you have to load more weight up to
your working set weight. After bench press, you then have to unload all
of the weights from the barbell to start on your next exercise.
Now, let's look at the same scenario with dumbbells. Let's say that
you're getting ready for incline dumbbell bench press. You go straight
to your dumbbell rack and pick up dumbbells for a warm up set.
After your warm up set to get you accustomed to heavy weight, you put the
dumbbells back on the rack and pick up your working set of dumbbells.
You do your set and put the dumbbells back.
That's it! No changing weights. No figuring out the weight on the bar and double checking it
to make sure you've loaded the correct amount of weight. No centering
the bench. Dumbbells save you a lot of time.

I made a huge mistake when building my home gym several years ago. I bought hex dumbbells as shown in the image to the left.
They take up so much space and cost entirely too much money. And hex dumbbells are the cheapest dumbbells you can find.
The price of rubber dumbbells are simply outrageous. The price of chrome plated dumbbells are ridiculous. There are no other good options out there. Prices in the past were decent but not any more.

Totally Blown Away by the WLC System...
Hi Josh,
Greetings from Australia, mate. I received your WLC Program recently and
have only just got to emailing you (reason being I took quite a while
exploring the entire package!!!).
I have to admit that over the past years
I've purchased many programs via the internet and I can say with complete
honesty that I have *never, ever*, had the pleasure of receiving one such as
yours!!!
I was totally blown away by everything, from the log books, the
big beefy manual, right on through to all those fantastic calculators! It
comes through that you really put your all into the package. I've seen all
those programs which claim to 'lay it all out for you ... paint by numbers
... take you step-by-step', etc.but only one is deserving of these claims
... and it's yours.
I especially found the goal setting information to be
very, very comprehensive and so well laid out. I've read goal setting
books, articles, websites, etc. but never really applied any of it to my
endeavours in the gym.
Your system will have me going after my dream body
with a vengeance, as I will be commencing the program this coming Monday.
In previous years I was a chronic "routine/program hopper"; I'd spot yet
another new system I thought I would follow and away I'd go ... for about 3
weeks if I was lucky!
Despite all that, during some years I'd build a
little muscle, lose a little fat and start looking reasonable, then slack
off. I have a well equipped home gym which includes everything you
recommend.
I have always been good with my meal choices but the bottom line
is I was never consistent with anything!!!!
I have a very strong feeling
all that is about to end - pronto! I'm really looking forward to starting
the program Monday 30th August, and totally looking forward to some *real
results at last*.
Oh, by the way I am 56 years old and my long-term goal is
to have an awesome physique at 60 in comparison to the average one I had at
30.
