If you really need a free ab workout, I've got one for you today.

This is an ab workout that will build your abs and allow those abs to start showing through. Your six pack abs are right around the corner...

Before we get to the workout, I need to ask you a few questions.

Is your body fat low enough to see your abs? If not, you need to work on burning fat while you perform this workout over several months.

In order to burn fat fast so you'll see your abs, you need to lift weights, eat a healthy diet, and perform cardiovascular exercise regularly and consistently.

The free ab workout you'll find below is simply a part of your regular exercise routine. The ab workout alone will not get you six pack abs. It must be a part of a complete weight lifting program. That's how you get abs.

You need to know which exercises to perform in the workout, how many sets to perform, and how many reps to perform.

But, most importantly, you need to know how to make progress each workout.

Workout A
# Exercises Sets Reps
1 Reverse Crunches 2 10-20
2 Twist Swiss Ball Crunches 2 10-20
3 Hang Knee Raises 2 10-20


Workout B
# Exercises Sets Reps
1 Twist Reverse Crunches 2 10-20
2 Swiss Ball Crunches 2 10-20
3 Twist Knee Raises 2 10-20


Perform 1 set of each exercise in the order shown and then repeat for the second set. Try to beat your performance from the first sets on your second time around.

When you get 20 reps on any exercise, increase resistance.

The workouts are alternating. Perform Workout A, then Workout B, and repeat from there: A, B, A, B, A, B, and so on. Now, let's look at the exercises...

The Best Ab Exercises

If you need to know how to perform the best abdominal exercises, please follow this link to my ab exercises page that provide you with videos of how to perform the exercises in the workout.

When you see "twist" in the exercise table, this simply means do 1 rep to one side of your body while twisting and then the next rep to the other side of your body. This will work the obliques along with the abdominals.

Making Progress

The most important part of this ab workout is to make progress from set to set and workout to workout.

You will have to work hard each time you perform an exercise. Always try to do at least 1 more rep or add resistance to the exercise.

You can find ways to add resistance to the exercises. Hold a weight plate, attach weights, or use a cable system with ankle straps. Add a few pounds of resistance at a time.

There's no need to get in a hurry with adding resistance. Squeeze everything you can out of each rep.

get six pack absDo perfect reps. This is very important for building the abs. If you do the reps perfectly and focus in on your abs working, 20 reps will be very hard.

Work hard, make progress, and watch your midsection turn into a carved out six pack.

Totally Blown Away by the WLC System...


Hi Josh,

Greetings from Australia, mate. I received your WLC Program recently and have only just got to emailing you (reason being I took quite a while exploring the entire package!!!).

I have to admit that over the past years I've purchased many programs via the internet and I can say with complete honesty that I have *never, ever*, had the pleasure of receiving one such as yours!!!

I was totally blown away by everything, from the log books, the big beefy manual, right on through to all those fantastic calculators! It comes through that you really put your all into the package. I've seen all those programs which claim to 'lay it all out for you ... paint by numbers ... take you step-by-step', etc.but only one is deserving of these claims ... and it's yours.

I especially found the goal setting information to be very, very comprehensive and so well laid out. I've read goal setting books, articles, websites, etc. but never really applied any of it to my endeavours in the gym.

Your system will have me going after my dream body with a vengeance, as I will be commencing the program this coming Monday.

In previous years I was a chronic "routine/program hopper"; I'd spot yet another new system I thought I would follow and away I'd go ... for about 3 weeks if I was lucky!

Despite all that, during some years I'd build a little muscle, lose a little fat and start looking reasonable, then slack off. I have a well equipped home gym which includes everything you recommend.

I have always been good with my meal choices but the bottom line is I was never consistent with anything!!!!

I have a very strong feeling all that is about to end - pronto! I'm really looking forward to starting the program Monday 30th August, and totally looking forward to some *real results at last*.

Oh, by the way I am 56 years old and my long-term goal is to have an awesome physique at 60 in comparison to the average one I had at 30. Thank you once again for putting out such a terrific and very complete program - I will not have any hesitation in recommending it to everyone I know.
