Home Gym Advantages
'A Home Gyms versus the Commercial Gyms'

I'm going to reveal the advantages and disadvantages of the home gym and compare it to a commercial gym.

You can make your own decision on whether or not a gym in your home is a good choice for you...

  1. Convenience
There is no comparison here. A commercial gym is very inconvenient. You have to go when the commercial gym is open. Going to the gym on holidays or late hours can be tough due to the gym being closed.

With home gyms, you can go whenever you want. You don't have to get ready, drive to the gym, and make sure you haven't forgotten anything. You don't have to put wear and tear on your car, and you don't have to put gas in the tank to get to your gym at home.

  1. Cost
A fully equipped gym for your home will cost you two to three thousand dollars initially. It will last you the rest of your life, though.

Compared to a commercial gym, which costs around $50 per month or $600 per year, home gyms might seem expensive at first.

Remember, though, you have to drive to the commercial gym, which takes time and money.

In only a few years, home gyms pay for themselves. Every year after those initial two years you are actually saving a lot of money by working out at home.

  1. Waiting on Others
You'll have to wait to use weight training equipment at a commercial gym. People will get in your way, and your workout will take a much longer amount of time. Time is precious during a workout. You don't want to be standing around waiting for equipment.

You'll never have to wait to use the equipment in your home. That is enough to make me choose home equipment over commercial gym equipment. Not to mention, you don't have to wipe other people's sweat off the weight benches.

  1. Distractions
People talking to you. People asking for advice. People telling you that you shouldn't do full squats because they're bad for your knees. Personal trainers trying to take your money. Distractions are everywhere.

You need to focus when you are lifting weights and a commercial gym only makes that much tougher. Working out at home gets rid of all the distractions!

  1. Music
In your home, you can listen to music that you like. Weight lifting music is very important for your workout. Music can produce emotional feelings that gives you instant strength gains. Music is a powerful tool in weightlifting.

A commercial gym is a a source of some of the worst weight lifting music you'll ever hear. Sure, you can take your portable music player, but it will get in your way most of the time.
