Junk Food Facts: How To Recognize Unhealthy Foods So You Can Avoid Them

I want you to know and understand junk food facts so you can avoid every unhealthy food.

Most people don't realize how much junk and garbage they put into their body each day. You've got to treat your body well if you want to live a long and happy life.

Your body should be one of your top priorities. Without it, you have no life. Life is over.

So please take the time to learn more about junk food so you can avoid it at all costs:

Most of us have tried eating healthy... some of us believe we are eating healthy when, in reality, we aren't even close to eating a healthy diet -- not even close.

I'm going to show you how to recognize junk food, and you will be surprised at all the junk food around you.

This may seem a little harsh to you at first, but once you follow these guidelines the belly fat will begin to melt away. You haven't been able to get rid of that unwanted body fat because you've been eating junk food and you didn't even know it!

The key to finding junk foods is to look at the ingredients list. Below, I'm going to show you what to look for in the ingredients list of foods you find in your home.

Junk Food Facts to Look For in the Ingredients List

If you want to play along with me for a second, that would be great...

If you're at home, can you go get something out of your pantry? I'll wait... Got it? Now find the ingredients list on the package.

Do you see any of the following ingredients?

Beet Sugar Brown Sugar
Cane Sugar Confectioner's Sugar
Corn Syrup Demerera
Dextrose Granulated Sugar
Grape Sugar High Fructose Corn Syrup
High Maltose Corn Syrup Maltodextrin
Molasses Muscavado Sugar
Raw Sugar Refined Sugar
Sucrose Table Sugar
Turbinado Sugar White Sugar


Now that's not all...

We're just getting started here. I can almost guarantee that whatever you got from your pantry had one of the above ingredients. If not, let's check it for some more junk food facts in the ingredients list.

Here's one of the worst and unhealthiest ingredients you will find in junk food:

Partially hydrogenated vegetable oils.

If you see anything close to the words above, you have a processed junk food in your hands. Throw it away. That food is hurting your health and making you fat. Eventually, that food will lead to your death. So throw it away!

Junk Food Facts To Know
When You're Out and About:

This is sad, but it's the truth. I'm sorry to inform you that pretty much everything and anything you find out and about is junk food.

That's a fact.

Now you can find a few healthy foods at some restaurants, but almost always... there's going to be something else tempting you when you're out and about.

You won't find ANYTHING at a fast food restaurant that is truly good for you. You can minimize the damage at a fast food restaurant by choosing salads with grilled chicken and lots of veggies.

Avoid fast food restaurants at all costs. They will make you fat and unhealthy. If you enjoy your life and your family and want to be with them for a long time, you will stay away from fast food.

Let's say you're at a nice restaurant for dinner...

The best foods you can choose are lean meats without any sauces. Grilled salmon, a lean cut of steak, grilled chicken breast, grilled shrimp, or any meat without added sauce or butter is great.

On the side, have a salad with lots of veggies and some vinegar based dressing with no croutons or processed cheese added.

Then you can have a sweet potato, brown rice, black beans, or any other natural tpye of carbohydrate without anything added to it. You should always avoid fried foods. Grilled veggies are always a good choice.

If you're with family and/or friends, they will notice what you are doing and begin to ask questions. After they notice how great you are looking, they will probably even join you. And you've done your part by helping others live a healthier life!

Simple Rules to Recognize Junk Foods
In Your Home and at the Grocery Store...

If the ingredients list is really long and filled with ingredients that you've never heard of, the food is junk.

For example, I pulled a cereal off the shelf at the grocery store... one that's high in fiber and marketed to you as a cereal that is very healthy for you. The cereal I am talking about is 'All Bran' cereal.

I took a look at the ingredients list... a long ingredients list. Some of the ingredients were sugar, corn syrup, and artificial flavors, and colors. Junk food? Definitely... without a question. Avoid it.

Another simple rule to follow for avoiding junk foods:

Stick to natural foods. If the food isn't natural, it isn't good for you. For example, a frozen dinner is VERY BAD for you. It doesn't come from nature. It was processed and man made from horrible ingredients.

How about an apple? Sweet potato? Lean beef? Real cow's milk? Wild caught salmon? Broccoli? Raw Oats? Pecans?

Stick to natural foods and your body will turn into a fat burning and muscle building machine.

Totally Blown Away by the WLC System...


Hi Josh,

Greetings from Australia, mate. I received your WLC Program recently and have only just got to emailing you (reason being I took quite a while exploring the entire package!!!).

I have to admit that over the past years I've purchased many programs via the internet and I can say with complete honesty that I have *never, ever*, had the pleasure of receiving one such as yours!!!

I was totally blown away by everything, from the log books, the big beefy manual, right on through to all those fantastic calculators! It comes through that you really put your all into the package. I've seen all those programs which claim to 'lay it all out for you ... paint by numbers ... take you step-by-step', etc.but only one is deserving of these claims ... and it's yours.

I especially found the goal setting information to be very, very comprehensive and so well laid out. I've read goal setting books, articles, websites, etc. but never really applied any of it to my endeavours in the gym.

Your system will have me going after my dream body with a vengeance, as I will be commencing the program this coming Monday.

In previous years I was a chronic "routine/program hopper"; I'd spot yet another new system I thought I would follow and away I'd go ... for about 3 weeks if I was lucky!

Despite all that, during some years I'd build a little muscle, lose a little fat and start looking reasonable, then slack off. I have a well equipped home gym which includes everything you recommend.

I have always been good with my meal choices but the bottom line is I was never consistent with anything!!!!

I have a very strong feeling all that is about to end - pronto! I'm really looking forward to starting the program Monday 30th August, and totally looking forward to some *real results at last*.

Oh, by the way I am 56 years old and my long-term goal is to have an awesome physique at 60 in comparison to the average one I had at 30. Thank you once again for putting out such a terrific and very complete program - I will not have any hesitation in recommending it to everyone I know.
