The manta
ray squat device is an amazing weight lifting accessory
that I highly recommend to anyone who has trouble putting heavy weights
on their upper back and trap region. I started having trouble with my
left arm going numb when I started to squat heavier and heavier

numbness I would get in my arm was finally gone. The load is
distributed by the manta ray to a larger area of your upper back and
traps. You feel comfortable with heavy weights on your back and trap
area instead of feeling the need to get the set over as quickly as
possible due to the strain the weight is placing on your back. You
won't have any more barbell marks and bruises all over your back from
the heavy barbell squats!
You can finally concentrate on squatting the weight and stop worrying
about supporting the weight with your back, traps, and arms. That alone
should add weight to your squat and allow you to get stronger much
faster than before. Any piece of equipment that allows that is going to
be a piece of weight lifting equipment that I love!

here to help you. If you have no trouble with barbell squats without
this device, then do not buy this device. If you've had problems in the
past staying upright or from aches and pains from the bar sitting on
your shoulders, then you need to give this device a shot! You won't be
sorry. I use it for all of my barbell squat exercises now.
