I’ve tried to tell so many people how important their muscle mass is for burning fat. But for some reason, this just doesn’t sink in for a while.
I’ll hear them say that they just want to get down to a certain body weight — even after I’ve told them several times that body weight is not that important.
Women especially have a lot of trouble with this concept.
So many women base their success on the number showing on the scale. It as if they have been conditioned to only worry about that number.
Even after explaining how muscle is so important, many will still say they don’t care about muscle mass.
It gets pretty frustrating sometimes. This simply blows my mind each and every time. I simply shake my head. I want to get this point across right now once and for all.
Would You Like to Look Good?
You can get to a certain body weight and look absolutely horrible.
You can get to that same body weight and look amazing. People do not understand this concept.
Would you rather get to 180 pounds at 20% body fat or 180 pounds at 10% body fat? Do you know how much different you would look between 20% and 10% body fat?
Please take the time to understand this concept if you don’t at this time. Body weight is not important any more.
Get that in your head now.
Your body composition is important. This simply means that lowering your body fat and building muscle are the most important things — not the body weight reading on your scale.
Stop worrying about your body weight. No one cares how much you weigh.
If you look amazing, why do you care how much you weigh? If you have a low body fat percentage with six pack abs, do you really care how much you weigh?
No. You won’t care at all.
You’ll be amazed at your body in the mirror, and you won’t even care about the number on the scale any more.
You will soon understand exactly what I mean as you see your body transform and the number on the scale not change very much. You will be amazed.
Muscle Is Very Important
If you lose too much muscle during a weight loss program, you will end up with a much slower metabolism. You will have to watch what you eat for the rest of your life. You will easily gain fat if you aren’t careful with your diet.
But, you can get out of that hole.
