The nutritional value of food is VERY important when you are trying to build muscle and burn fat.

You should strive to feed your body with very high nutritional value foods — ALL THE TIME.
Instead of eating some white bread… you would instead choose real oats because their nutritional value is so much higher.
Instead of having a protein shake in the middle of the day as a meal replacement, you would choose wild-caught salmon because it’s nutritional value is so much higher.

Receive All The Benefits You Can From Different Foods
You want to eat a large variety of foods so your body benefits from all types of food.
For example, instead of having an apple every single day with the same meal — have a banana one day, an apple the next, an orange another day, a grapefruit, and so on.
Try eating a large variety of food throughout the week.
You would eat a large variety so you receive all the benefits of the different foods.
Some foods give you nutrients that other foods can never give you. If you are always eating the same foods and your diet is lacking in a certain vitamin or mineral, this deficiency will eventually catch up to you.
You don’t want to be sick at any time in your life. That’s why you need a large variety of different foods in your diet plans.
Junk Foods Robs Your Body of Precious Nutrients
Let’s say you are constantly eating fast food each day of the week.
Let me give you an example for some of the people I know… here’s how they eat throughout their life:
Most of the time, breakfast will be skipped.
Instead, we’ll go for multiple cups of coffee with the natural pesticide caffeine. We’ll get addicted to caffeine and think we need it every morning just to get us going.
Sometimes for breakfast, we’ll have some processed foods like doughnuts that just puts layers of body fat on our bodies.
We’ll add some fake orange juice loaded with sugars, and we’ll think we did something good because orange juice is supposed to be healthy. Not.
We’ll go out for lunch at some fast food restaurant and eat more processed junk food.
And we’ll do this everyday of the week.
We’ll get absolutely ZERO nutritional value from any of the food we eat.
We might get some vegetables or fruit in these meals every once in a while, but the rest of the processed foods in the meal will rob our bodies of these precious nutrients.
Our body will have to use the nutrients from the good foods just to help rid the body of the poison from the processed foods.
Our lunch meals just lead to lower energy levels and more body fat. Our health declines more and more with every lunch meal.
Now, we’ll go out and get some more processed foods to eat since we didn’t have time to go to the grocery or cook a meal.
For dinner, we’ll eat more than any meal. We’ll load it with lots of fat and bad carbohydrates.
Then, when we’re finished with the huge meal for dinner…
We’ll get some dessert. We might have some ice cream for a treat. Maybe we’ll have some cookies or candy.
We just get more addicted to the cravings by doing so.
The trend continues each day as we lead ourselves to a miserable life due to declining health at a faster rate.
All because we can’t make better choices for fueling our bodies each day.
Do You Want to Be Lifeless?
The people who continue to eat as above are going to be sick and lifeless as their life continues.
Their body will eventually give up the fight and sickness will overcome them.
Happens every time. Don’t let that happen to you.

One of the biggest mistakes people make when it comes to eating for building muscle and burning fat is choosing supplements over real food.
REAL food is so much better than any supplement. That’s the truth.
You also must cut out the vast majority of junk food from your diet. Junk food gives you nothing and actually takes away nutrients from your body. It’s true. You need to eat foods high in vitamins, minerals, and nutrients instead.
Start paying attention to the nutritional value of food. It’s worth the little bit of extra effort.
