Pre and Post Workout Eating

Lan Di,

Within the WLC Program, I use the following the protcols:

Right before your workout, you should have a combination of fast acting protein and simple carbohydrates. Example, BCAA's and Waxy Maize.

Then have the exact same thing immediately after your workout... fast acting protein and simple carbohydrates. Example, BCAA's and Waxy Maize.

Then, 30 minutes after your workout you should have a whole food meal with a lean protein source and a complex carbohydrate. Example, Chicken Breast and White Potato.

I've experimented with such protocols for 10 years or so and the above is the best I have seen... works wonders for building muscle.
