Pre Workout Supplements - Do you know how to prepare for your workout?

Pre Workout Supplements are another weight lifting supplement that I've found to be very important over the years. I like to eat a full meal a few hours before my workout for most WLC cycles. Sometimes I add a meal closer to my workout when I'm trying to get more calories in during the day. What I like to do for pre-workout is have a shake with BCAAs, a few carbs, and some energy supplements all mixed together.

I buy a pre-mixed powder that I use that contains BCAAs, some carbs, creatine, and some energy supplements. I've really started to trust in this product because it gets me going at just the right times if I start sipping on it a few minutes before I start warming up for my workout. Even after feeling tired for a day, this supplement helps get me revved up for the tough workout I have ahead of me.

The pre-workout drink is one that will help with muscle building too. Trust me on this. I saw a world of difference once I started implementing a pre-workout drink before and during my workout. I like to sip on it before and during my entire workout along with large amounts of water. Probably around a half gallon or so total.

You can experiment with your pre-workout drink too. I also like to change my pre workout drink around sometimes and have whey protein mixed with an equal combination of maltodextrin and dextrose. I do this when I need more calories in my diet and I've come to a point where it's hard to fit more calories in throughout the day.
