Suspicious Drug Test Due to a Healthy Lifestyle

by Tony

I am a 41 year old male. Iam 6'4 240lbs and have about 8% body fat.

I workout 5 days a week in the weight room intensely, have been doing this since I was 15.

I have to take random urine screens for my job.

If one test with diluted urine or low creatine conc. below 20 they will assume one is hiding something.

I don't drink any alcohol or do any form of illegal drugs or prescriptin drugs but I do cycle over the counter supplements for my work outs.

How do I prevent the nightmare that I can give a diluted test when I drink 64oz of water a day and lift heavy weights?

Thank you. Tony

That's Pretty Bad You Have to Worry...
by: Josh -- Author WLC Program

I just think it's ridiculous that you have to worry about a suspicious drug test because you're living a healthy lifestyle while others aren't.

A 'normal' test is from someone who is very dehydrated and living unhealthy. That's pretty bad, huh?

This might not be what you're looking for, but I really wouldn't worry about anyone becoming suspicious.

Your drug test will not show anything and that's what really matters. They can become suspicious all they want... and you may be in great shape so they might even be more suspicious BUT that's something we have to deal with when we lift weights.

I've been accused of using steroids and have heard people say there's no way I could have done that without drugs. I just ignore those comments because I know the truth. Let people be suspicious. You know the truth.

I just think it's pretty bad and just shows how unhealthy people can be -- and that's considered normal. Because you drink plenty of water and aren't dehydrated, they may be suspicious of you. Let them be suspicious. Personally, I can't think of any solution to this because it's random drug testing.

Also, everyone was suspicious of Barry Bonds because he got bigger... and as we all know, people were right about him BUT -- Barry could have done that naturally if he put the time and effort into it... would have taken him a little longer but with the right weight lifting program and diet he could have easily accomplished the same thing.

Many people believe that if someone gains some muscle, they must be using drugs. And that's not true at all. Heavy weights and plenty of the right foods, as you know, will do the trick.

Hope this helps you out.
