But one that not many people understand.
This article today is going to tell you why it isn’t your fault when over eating…
But I’m also going to tell you how to prevent overeating in the future so you don’t have to deal with excess body fat, low energy levels, and bad health.
No one wants to feel like crap day in and day out, and overeating is the main reason for feeling bad.
And over eating leads to so many issues like obesity and major health problems that we MUST take a stand today and fight this until you no longer have a problem with cravings.
Cravings for food lead to us snacking on processed and refined foods, going out to get dessert at a fast food restaurant, drinking soft drinks, and eating more and more food that is just flat-out bad for us and our bodies.
Why All The Cravings?
Your body was designed by an awesome creator to protect your life. You may not believe that, but stay with me anyways…
Your body will do everything that it can to keep you healthy and feeling great, BUT our bodies can only do so much.
Cravings are there to protect your body.
Yes, the cravings are actually hurting your body because they are leading to more bad food choices made by us. It’s our decision to eat healthy foods or unhealthy foods.
When we eat unhealthy foods, these foods are actually robbing our bodies of precious nutrients that our body needs to survive and to keep us healthy.
If we continue to eat bad and unhealthy foods, our body is only doing what it can to protect us by telling you it needs more food.
Your body is actually saying…
“Hey dummy! I need more nutrients! More nutrients! Don’t feed me that crap you’ve been putting down the hatch there. I need something that’s going to help me!!!”
And when you don’t give your body the nutrients it needs, guess what?
That’s right — you’re going to continue to get cravings. Over and over again.
Cravings Lead to Over Eating so STOP the Cravings!
It should be rather obvious how to stop cravings and therefore stop overeating BUT it might be a little more difficult than you might think.
In order to STOP CRAVINGS, you must feed your body all the nutrients that it needs.
But here’s the trick…
If you eat bad foods or ANY unhealthy foods, you are actually taking away many of the nutrients that you just obtained from healthy and nutrient dense foods.
Bad foods require nutrients from your body just to get rid of them.
So you can’t eat ANY bad foods if you want to STOP the cravings from happening all the time.
I can almost guarantee that you will have cravings if you eat any bad foods. If you are having cravings, this simply means that your body isn’t getting everything that it needs when it needs it!
Cravings are a sign and a signal from your body. “Hey, I need nutrients NOW!”
And YOU do not need any bad foods, so let’s stop eating them today. Guaranteed that the cravings will go away within just a few weeks of changing your habits.
The tough part about all of this is learning the REAL TRUTH about what foods are good for you and what foods are bad for you.
So, What Foods Are Healthy and Will Help You to Stop Overeating???
This is where everything gets really tricky.
As you eat foods that are unhealthy, you are loading your body with materials that it must put to waste. Putting these in the waste takes other resources away from the body and can even harm parts of your body that are helping to get rid of these horrible materials.
Indirectly, you are harming other parts of your body because those parts of your body are not getting what they need.
Let’s say you are trying to fill up a bucket of water by dipping water out of a lake with an 8 ounce cup.
The bucket has a leak in it in which the water flows out much faster than you can put it in. You work harder and harder, faster and faster, but more holes appear in the bucket. So you get a bigger cup and start catching up… but more holes appear.
You’ll never get the bucket filled with water because of all the damage to the bucket. You’ve got to repair the bucket before you’ll be able to fill the bucket.
Good foods are going to help you repair your body and keep all the nutrients in your body. Bad foods are like the holes in the bucket. They simply take away more of the good stuff and damage your body in the process.
The really healthy foods might not equal the foods you once thought…
That is why this is so tricky. That is why you’ve probably attempted to eat healthy before but lost that battle to cravings and over eating.
Tricky Foods That Are Unhealthy
Many fruits and veggies can actually be unhealthy for you due to pesticides, preservatives, and other chemicals added to them.
Think broccoli. Broccoli is an absolutely amazing vegetable that is extremely healthy for you.
Now add all the pesticides to the broccoli. We instantly turned it into a KILLER food instead of a healthy food.
You can get around all the chemicals by buying certified organic foods from a grocery store like Whole Foods or from a local farmer that you trust. The farmer will tell you what he/she uses on the fruits and vegetables.
And whatever you do — always make sure you wash the fruits and veggies very well before eating. You might even soak them in a mixture to ensure they are free from any chemicals.
And yes, it’s worth paying the extra money for the organic foods.
You know why?
Because you will have to eat less food, have fewer cravings, feel great, look great, and you’ll STOP putting bad materials in your body. You’ll prevent huge health problems in the future.
Some of these foods that have dangerous chemicals may be even contributing to all the cancer and other disease we see throughout the world.
Eat Less Food, Get More Nutrients, and Have ZERO Cravings With The RIGHT Foods
Here are the right foods you should be eating:
- Meat and Dairy from Healthy Animals (no steroids, antibiotics, hormones, etc pumped into the animals) who have been fed properly
- Natural fruits and veggies grown organically and never sprayed with any chemicals
- Healthy fats from nuts, seeds, and oils (oils must be tested and certified to have no bad substances)
- Limit grain intake to ZERO servings or keep to an absolute minimum
- Natural spices and herbs
All other foods are just noise now — you don’t need them. This includes bread, pasta, pizza, frozen dinners, hot dogs, enchiladas, burritos, ANY fast food, chips, candy, cake, pie, etc.
I know, right?
That’s pretty much all the food people have at parties for work, for school, for birthday parties, etc.
Eat those nasty foods and begin your cravings, begin your over eating, and begin down the path once more to obesity, low energy levels, and bad health. They aren’t worth it.
You’ll have to be creative and find a way to avoid those foods. Eat before you go, say no thank you to foods, tell others you are fasting, tell them you’re not hungry, tell them your doctor instructed you not to eat those foods…

People are very resistant to eating healthy for some reason.
Many people don’t want to admit that they are killing themselves, their children, and others around them by feeding them those foods. But it’s cheap and good for parties so what else can we do?
Yes, it’s a problem to solve for another day BUT for now, work on eating properly.
Once you begin eating properly, you won’t even care about those foods any more. You’ll have no desire for them any longer. You’ll look forward to healthy foods because you’ll see how they make you feel.
Our world today is filled with foods that are down right nasty, horrible, and will kill you. I am 100% serious here. The wrong food will kill you!
Be Aware of What You’re Putting In Your Body
I will guarantee a STOP in over eating once you begin eating truly healthy foods.
This doesn’t mean cereal that some clever company tells you is healthy. This doesn’t mean boxed dinner meals that some weight loss company tells you is good for weight loss. This doesn’t mean protein bars that are extremely unhealthy for you.
I hope you see what I’m getting at here.
You need to focus on the truly NATURAL foods in order to stop overeating.
Remember, they aren’t natural if we have added chemicals to them or have altered them in any other manner.
A few tips:
- Grow your own fruits and vegetables.
- Buy or hunt wild game or fish that has fed off naturally occurring foods.
- Buy 100% grass fed beef, pasture raised chicken, and eggs from pasture raised chickens (eat the whole egg as the yolk has all the nutrition)
- Buy real milk from small farms with healthy cows or goats
- Buy only organic fruits and veggies
Does Eating Healthy REALLY Cost More Money?
I 100% know the answer to that question is NO. It does not cost more to spend more money on healthy foods.
I know that last statement might not make much sense if taken out of context.
I mean who would believe this: “It does not cost more to spend more money on healthy foods.” Doesn’t make sense, huh?
But it does…
Because you eat overall less food but get more nutrition. More expensive foods like organically grown fruits and vegetables may cost more but you get more nutrition out of them and keep bad chemicals out of your body.
When you get more nutrition overall, you will overeat less because you are giving your body what it needs. You won’t be as hungry and you won’t have cravings for more food.
– You’ll save all those late night runs to the fast food joint or to the gas station to get yourself a soda.
– You’ll save all those pizza orders delivered to your home.
– You won’t have that big bowl of ice cream every night.
All of that costs lots and lots of money that you could have saved with more expensive but truly HEALTHY foods!
And think of all the doctor bills you will save in the future due to your new found health. Over eating is long gone. You can kiss it goodbye.
