Top Ten Reasons to Exercise
You'll want to exercise after
reading this...
I want to give you the top
ten reasons to exercise, so you realize just how important
exercise is to your life! After reading these top 10 reasons, you
should be ready to start an exercise program today.
Reason
#1:
Improves your Appearance
Who doesn't want to look better? I don't think
anyone in the world would mind looking better physically. This is my
number one reason in the list of top ten reasons to exercise.
Your posture will improve. You'll increase your muscle mass and
decrease your fat mass. Lower body fat will make you more appealing to
the opposite sex.
If you are married or have a girlfriend or boyfriend, they will be more
attracted to you than they already are and we all know what that means!
An improved appearance really upgrades your life in more ways than one.
You'll have more confidence and you'll do better in all aspects of
life. Now, let's get to the rest of the top ten reasons to exercise...
Reason #2:
Gives you Goals and Purpose
This reason is one of my favorite
top ten reasons to exercise. It feels great to achieve goals that
you've set for yourself throughout the year.
I always look forward to my next workout, so I can try to set new
personal weightlifting records! I feel good about myself in knowing
that I've achieved a goal. I know that I have the personal drive to
succeed in anything in life.
When you achieve exercise goals you've set for yourself, you know that
you can apply the same principles you did to your exercise program to
achieve other goals in life! Hard work and intelligent planning can
help you get anything you want.
Reason #3:
Helps you feel better
I love waking up in the morning
and feeling refreshed and ready to go. Exercise helps you look forward
to the day ahead of you. Exercise can become a wonderful hobby that you
look forward to each and every day.
You'll start to look forward to exercise because exercise gives you
more energy and simply helps you to feel better throughout the day. It
simply feels great to have more energy! Feeling better is priceless and is certainly one of the top ten reasons to exercise.
Reason #4:
Gives you the ability to make more Money
You might not believe this one if
you've never exercised before, but those of you who exercise will have
a better idea of what I'm talking about here. Exercise helps you
concentrate throughout the day and helps you to stay more focused on
the task at hand.
Studies have proven that exercise helps you become more productive in
life. The higher confidence you have in yourself, the increased energy,
the increased focus, and the increased concentration can lead to
promotions or even new ideas for making money!
This reason alone should make you want to start a new exercise program
today! Who doesn't need more money?
Reason #5:
Reduces risk of disease and illness
Exercise reduces the risk of many
diseases and ilnesses. Regular exercise reduces the risk of heart
disease and stroke. Exercise can help reduce high blood pressure,
prevent Type II diabetes, and prevent osteoporosis. In other words,
exercise can save your life!
A good exercise program combined with a good diet can even prevent you
from getting sick. Increased vitamin intake from a better diet will
keep you healthy throughout the year!
This
reason may be number one of the top ten reasons to exercise! One of
your goals in life should be to prevent disease and illness!
Reason #6:
Prevents Obesity
No one
wants to be obese due to health problems and
appearance. Whatever you do, though, do not use the BMI or Body Mass
Index as indicator of being obese. The BMI is out of date big time!
Read about the Body
Mass Index here.
Use
body fat percentage as an indicator of your health. Obesity is not a
function of height and weight as the BMI predicts. Obesity is a
function of body fat and body fat percentage is the best indicator.
Exercise will prevent obesity and turn an obese person into a very
healthy person with an ideal body fat percentage.
Reason #7:
Improves Self Confidence and Self Esteem
Reason 7 of the top ten reasons to exercise is to imrove your confidence and self esteem. With a
better looking body, you'll feel great about your
physical appearance.
As artificial as this may sound, everyone wants to
have a good looking body. Let's face it, you'll feel much better about
yourself when you look good.
You'll also feel better and have
more energy, so your self confidence and self esteem will be higher
than ever. You can feel good that you're doing everything you can to
live a long and healthy life for your loved ones.
Reason #8:
Anti Depressant
Weight
lifting is one of the best forms of exercise but
should be combined with a good diet and cardiovascular exercise.
Stretching and other recovery techniques such as deep tissue massage
can also be included in a complete exercise program.
Studies
have shown that weight lifting alone acts as an anti-depressant. You
get the same results with weight lifting as you would by taking
medication. Why take the medication with side effects when you can
simply lift weights to help depression?
Weight lifting and exercise is simply amazing. You have no reason not
to exercise, so get going today! This is definitely one of the top ten reasons to exercise.
Reason #9:
Increases Strength
Everyone
should strive to be a stronger person. Increased
strength can really make life easier, and can really benefit you if
ever in a life or death situation.
Being strong makes you feel
better about yourself, and makes anything physical much easier. You can
be better at sports and anything that involves physical activity!
It
feels great to be able to lift certain objects with no problem. Yard
work becomes easier and, like I said, any physical activity. This is
one of my tope ten reasons to exercise because strength makes a huge
difference in life.
Reason #10:
Improves overall quality of life!
Last but not least in the top ten reasons to exercise is to
improve your overall quality of life. It will greatly improve with
exercise. Just
imagine feeling great every day of the week. Imagine getting a great
night of rest due to the exercise you performed earlier in the day.
Exercise expends energy and leaves you ready for a great night of sleep.
You'll look and feel better every day, and you'll have more confidence
in yourself. The work you perform everyday for your job will get
better, and people will notice the new you!
The opposite sex will notice you more because you'll have a great
looking body and lots of slef confidence. You'll be healthy and have
less sickness throughout the years. Pains that always bothered you will
go away. Lower back pain will be a thing of the past!
Your cardiovascular endurance will increase, and you'll be able to
perform physical activity for hours with no problem. Your posture will
improve. You'll make more money in life. You will have lower blood
pressure. And so on...
You need to start an exercise
program today!
Your life
really does depend on it!
Exericse will help you increase your lean muscle mass which means you
will burn more calories while resting. Let me give you an example from
my life. Every so often, maybe once a year, I like to take about a week
break from not only weight lifting but from eating correctly.
I will stop eating 6-8 meals per day and go back to only eating a few
times per day. This really gives me a break and eventually gets me
motivated to continue with my exercise program. During this period, I
eat anything I want. Desserts, candy, doughnuts, pizza, and more! I
don't worry about getting protein, carbs, and fat. I simply eat what I
want.
Well, I have so much muscle mass that I actually lose weight and some
fat during this break that I give myself. Even with all the junk food,
I can still lose weight! This is because my muscle mass burns all of
the calories from those foods. How would you like to be able to do that
every once in a while?
You can find everything you need
to get started!
Right here at Weight Lifting Complete!
Your new exercise program should include weightlifting, diet, and a
cardio program at the very least. I like to add in stretching,
supplementation, and other recovery techniques to form a complete
exercise program.
