Weight Lifting Accessories are products that can be used to help you in your WLC Program. These are only accessories that I have used and that complement your weight lifting equipment. I love using some of these accessories and some really give me a physical and mental advantage and help me to lift more weight and reps.
I have used all of these accessories, and I continue to use most all of them today. I have not included any weight lifting accessories that I have not used! Remember, these are only accessories and are not required by any means. If you're looking for a little extra help or you're having some problems, give these a try.
Weight Lifting Accessories for Consideration
New Grip Weight Lifting Gloves
These are actually better than weight lifting gloves. I have been using these for a few years now and I absolutely love them. I put them at the top because these are one of the only accessories that will give you instant strength gains! I decided to purchase these when I was having wrist and forearm problems. I have no problems at all since purchasing these. I can't recommend any weight lifting glove over these!
Manta Ray Squat Device
I have been using the manta ray on my olympic barbell when squatting for a long time. Whenever I would get to my lower reps for higher weight, my left arm from my shoulder down to my hand would ache. I figured I had the bar sitting on the wrong part of my shoulder and upper back area. I experimented for a while until I got tired oy my arm hurting. The manta ray fixed my problem!
Weight Lifting Wrist Straps
Weight lifting wrist straps are a favorite of mine because gripping the bar is not one of my priorities when lifting weights. I like to use the straps so I can focus on the muscle group I am working and not worrying about my grip failing.
Plate Mates
Plate mates can attach to the end of your hex dumbells to give you smaller increments in your hex dumbells. I love using these for progression on exercises that use a smaller weight such as dumbell curls. You can also use these to cut down the price of your dumbell set.
Weight Lifting Shoes
It took me a while to realize how important a good pair of weight lifting shoes are to your workout. I finally got me a good pair.
TK Knee Bands
If you've ever had any knee problems at all, then you'll definitely want to take a look at these. Even if you haven't had knee problems, you'll still want to consider these. Ever since I've had these my knees feel so much better. Feels like you have brand new knees when wearing these and even afterwards. This is one of the best weight lifting accessories I have ever found!
TK Elbow Bands
Many weight lifters will start to get elbow problems if they do heavy tricep extensions. This is one reason I don't do heavy tricep extension exercises any more. These TK elbow bands will help keep your elbows warm and lubricated and feeling great during and even after your workout.
TK Waist Band
This is one of my favorite weight lifting accessories right here! This keeps the low back aches and pains away for me. You've got to try one of these if you've ever had any lower back problems.
Wrist Wraps
Before I put my New Grips weight lifting gloves on, I always use wrist wraps to give me an even greater support. Wrist wraps are very cheap so I figured I should take advantage of these when I as having wrist problems. I've been using them ever since.
Extreme Calf Block
I've always looked for a good calf block for doing calf raises. I've built 3 or 4 on my own because I could never find one that I liked. Well, this is the best calf block I have ever used and the only one I will ever buy! You need exaggerated motion to build your calves. This is exactly how to get that.
Power Hooks
I bought a set of these power hooks and they just don't fit too well with me. If you'd like to give them a try then go ahead. They sounded good to me, but I like the method of placing dumbells on my knees to get them into position.
