Unique Weight Lifting Tips
You Can Use Right Now

I've got some VERY good weight lifting tips for you today. The goal of weight lifting is to lift heavier weight and build muscle so today that's what I'm going to help you do.

These weightlifting tips are tricks I've come up with over the years. I have over 10 years of experience in weight training and building muscle so I've been through just about everything.

Many of these tips and tricks I'm about to share have helped me to add 80 pounds of lean muscle to my body. So pay attention and give these a try.

Unique Weight Lifting Tips You Won't Find Anywhere Else

  1. When doing dumbbell curls, grip the handle on the inner side of the dumbbell. This will make the contraction at the top of the curl movement to be harder.
  2. Make side laterals more of a mix between upright rows and side laterals. I actually found a video of someone doing side laterals EXACTLY as I recommend:

  3. The form shown in the video above for side laterals is the exact form that I recommend. You can use HEAVY weight with that movement and stress the side deltoid muscles so much more.

  4. Zercher squats are one of the better leg exercises that most people have never done or even heard of... give these a shot but use a little padding on your arms for the first few times:
  5. A hip belt is one of the better pieces of weight lifting equipment. I highly recommend you get one for pulling a sled, hanging weights from your waist for pull ups and dips, and for hip belt squats.

  6. There are several other variations of hip belt squats you can do too. This type of squat is very easy on your lower back.

  7. For building calves, try an explosive positive rep, a 5 second hold at the top trying to get a better peak contraction, lower slowly for 5 seconds, get a good stretch at bottom for 5 seconds and then start over. Calves need very heavy weight and pain to build them.
  8. The big compound weight lifting exercises like squats and deadlifts will help you build a bigger upper body. Whenever your strength goes up on those exercises, you will get bigger overall if eating properly.
  9. Implement loaded stretching into your weight lifting workouts.
  10. Think positive during your workouts. Know that you can lift heavier weight and complete every exercise better than you did the previous workout. You can. You just need to know that you can. And you have to believe... really believe that you can.
  11. The 7 exercises that should always form the core of your weight training program are: squats, deadlifts, bench press, rows, overhead press, dips, and pull ups.
  12. Exercises that you don't like to do are usually the ones that will give you the best results.
  13. Increasing the amount of weight you are lifting is the most important muscle building factor. This means your weight lifting strategy must be designed to help you lift heavier weight every workout.

Totally Blown Away by the WLC System...


Hi Josh,

Greetings from Australia, mate. I received your WLC Program recently and have only just got to emailing you (reason being I took quite a while exploring the entire package!!!).

I have to admit that over the past years I've purchased many programs via the internet and I can say with complete honesty that I have *never, ever*, had the pleasure of receiving one such as yours!!!

I was totally blown away by everything, from the log books, the big beefy manual, right on through to all those fantastic calculators! It comes through that you really put your all into the package. I've seen all those programs which claim to 'lay it all out for you ... paint by numbers ... take you step-by-step', etc.but only one is deserving of these claims ... and it's yours.

I especially found the goal setting information to be very, very comprehensive and so well laid out. I've read goal setting books, articles, websites, etc. but never really applied any of it to my endeavours in the gym.

Your system will have me going after my dream body with a vengeance, as I will be commencing the program this coming Monday.

In previous years I was a chronic "routine/program hopper"; I'd spot yet another new system I thought I would follow and away I'd go ... for about 3 weeks if I was lucky!

Despite all that, during some years I'd build a little muscle, lose a little fat and start looking reasonable, then slack off. I have a well equipped home gym which includes everything you recommend.

I have always been good with my meal choices but the bottom line is I was never consistent with anything!!!!

I have a very strong feeling all that is about to end - pronto! I'm really looking forward to starting the program Monday 30th August, and totally looking forward to some *real results at last*.

Oh, by the way I am 56 years old and my long-term goal is to have an awesome physique at 60 in comparison to the average one I had at 30. Thank you once again for putting out such a terrific and very complete program - I will not have any hesitation in recommending it to everyone I know.
