WLC Program Awakening Muscle building taken to a new level!
WLC Program Awakening is one of the most important components of the program. Awakening will last for at least one week and at least 3 total workouts. I call it Awakening because you will continue to increase your 6 rep maxes on all the exercises. You will be amazed at the amount you will be lifting as you go through Awakening.
What is WLC Program Awakening?
Awakening will occur after the Intensity week for the 6 rep phase, which occurs in Week 9. The last workout of Intensity Week 9 has you going above your 6 rep maxes on all exercises. Well, Awakening will have you continue that trend by increasing your rep maxes to an even greater weight.
Awakening can last longer than 1 week depending on how you're progressing.
Awakening will take place in Week 10, but don't think that Awakening can only last 1 week. If you are still progressing and lifting heavier weight at each workout for 6 reps, I want you to continue the awakening period until you can't achieve 6 reps on most of your exercises. So, once you start reaching failure before 6 reps on the majority of your exercises, discontinue the Awakening period and head to Week 11.

Once again, you can continue the workouts for as long as possible until you start hitting a wall. Continuing means that you're really doing great and you're getting very strong. You're building muscle! So, continue if at all possible for as long as possible. And don't worry too much about overtraining because we'll be winding down to your break after this awakening period.
The Strongest You've Ever Been!
After Awakening, you'll be very strong relative to what you were before the WLC cycle began. All of your rep maxes should be much easier to increase during the next WLC cycle. You'll start to realize how great this program is after a couple of cycles through. You'll start to know your body better and see how well it responds to the program!
