Workout Programs for Size and Strength in the Offseason

Josh,

I am a 26 yr old amateur rugby player who goes to the gym 3 to 4 times a week.

In the gym we have barbells, dumbells, squat rack, bench (incline/decline/flat). As well as a swiss ball.

Could you suggest a good workout to build strength and size in the off-season.

My diet is good and my protein intake is good. as you can see here:

5x5 Workout Program

Hey James,

Have you ever used a 5x5 workout program? They are geared more towards strength but will build size too.

Are you more interested in size or strength?

I have another program that I can give you for size or I will help you with a 5x5 program. It's your choice.

Size and strength go hand in hand but it's better to choose one to focus on... let me know.
