Wrong gym?

Hi Josh,

I have joined a gym which is exclusively for women and I am bound to them for a three year contract so changing gyms is not an option. I have been attending for a year and I am committed to the process. However I have stopped loosing weight and I feel very bulky and uncomfortable in my clothes.

This feeling made me research training on the internet and there I found your website. I purchased your course this morning and I am reading through the Curvaceous manual and have noticed I need to do chin ups and use a barbell. My gym does not have that sort of equipment.

I have been doing 1 hour at the gym every weekday and use the equipment called technogym. Please help me understand how to do your work out in that enviroment and please assure me this bulky uncomfortable feeling will go away with your training.

No Worries About the Gym

Amy,

If you want to focus on losing body fat, start with the Fabulous Fat Loss program vice the Curvaceous program.

No worries on the lack of the barbell, the free weights, chin up bar, and other weight training equipment.

As long as you have a way to do exercises safely and increase the resistance, you will do great. I recommend free weights but any type of resistance will work and that includes machines.

All you need to do is find a good replacement for the exercises within the program that you can do with the machines. I do not know the machines you are using very well but I can help if needed.

For example... in place of squats there should be some type of machine squats or leg press or something similar.

And for fat loss... to get rid of the bulky feeling: make sure you are doing cardio as that is the key to fat loss along with the combination of proper diet and proper weight training.

If you follow the outline of the Fabulous Fat Loss program, the fat will disappear very quickly. You'll feel like a new person.
