Chest stretches will be done immediately after your chest exercise on the WLC weight lifting program.
So don't worry about not being warmed up for a stretch.
You should always stretch after you are warmed up…
I know that might be different from what you've learned before. You're chest will have a pumped feeling and you will be warmed up before using these chest stretches.
Some people will be scared away by the concept of weighted stretching, but you are always warmed up and I've never heard of anyone injuring themselves. You need to have common sense, though. Always be safe and careful when stretching.
You will build a bigger and better chest with the WLC System.
Doing a good weighted stretch after your chest exercise will build you more muscle than you'd believe. Stretching your chest is going to be very easy to do and should be easy for you to feel when you have it right.

My Experience with Weighted Chest Stretching
I like to use dumbells and a flat bench to stretch my chest. You're going to feel like you're doing chest flyes, but I like to have the dumbells closer in towards my body and not farther out as you would for a chest flye. I then find the sweet spot for the stretch and start my count.
I finish the stretch at around a minute or so.
I also like to use my cable pulley system to do a stretch that I really like. The stretch will remind you of the bottom position of cable flyes. The stretch puts you into that position, which stretches the chest out very well. You can push into the stretch and really get a great stretch in your chest. I've started using this stretch more in my WLC cycles.
I found a new stretch the other day that I really like when attempting a new triceps stretch at the dips bar. If you really lean into the dips position at the bottom position, you can get a very good stretch in your chest.
I was amazed at how great the stretch is in that position. I may definitely use that one in some of my future WLC cycles.
How to for Chest Stretch #1
This is my favorite stretch because I have no problem at all getting the stretch I'm looking for with this position. I like to set my cable pulley system at the correct height as shown in the picture.
I then like to lean forward and really put some pressure on my chest. You can imagine the great stretch that this one gives. If you don't have a cable pulley system available, read on as you'll find another stretch you'll be able to use and all you'll need is a set of dumbells.
How to for Chest Stretch #2
In this stretch, you'll use dumbells and try to progress throughout your WLC weight lifting cycle by increasing the weight.
I've used this stretch during many WLC cycles and have used up to 90 pound dumbells for the stretch. Remember, though, I do not take the dumbells out as far as a flye.
I feel the stretch much better in my chest if I keep the dumbells closer to my sides and try to push my chest upwards. You'll get the hang of it too after some experimenting.
Try to push your chest up as much as possible. This stretch can get tough as you increase the weight over your WLC cycle. Make sure you don't give up, though. Always get the time you set out to achieve. Be strong.
As you experiment please let me know if you find another good stretch. I'm always looking for some good ones.
If you're one of those people that are always wanting to build a bigger chest, you're going to want to give the WLC System a try.
The WLC System will build you a balanced physique with a great looking chest. Weighted stretching and intelligent weight lifting come together to give you the greatest results of your life.
