Some people categorize exercise into 4 types:
1. Strength
2. Endurance
3. Balance
4. Flexibility
Do you know what I love about weight lifting?
You can easily get all 4 of those types of exercise into weight training.
That's awesome!
But, to get endurance training you need to be doing higher reps too.
With the WLC System, you do weight lifting, cardio, and stretching. You also work on balance with different weight lifting exercises.
For example, the single leg dumbbell deadlift is an awesome balance exercise. Bulgarian squats are another great balance exercise. Many weight training exercises have balance components especially when you're standing.
I don't really do very many exercises that have you seated or laying down. I like to do exercises standing or suspended which works more muscle groups and improves the balance component of physical fitness.
You can bet that when you follow the WLC System that you're getting all components of physical fitness that you need.
