I do not recommend home multi gyms at all as these are always machine at different stations.
A Bowflex machine would be better than any home multi gym, and I always recommend free weights over any machine including a Bowflex.
If you already have a Bowflex machine, then yes, you can start out with that. You will eventually easily max it out on the best exercises and you'll need free weights.
Barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells are highly recommended. You can get just a set of adjustable dumbbells and do way better with those than any multi station home gym. And dumbbells take up a lot less space.
If you have space for a multi station home gym, you should go ahead and get a power rack, Olympic barbell sets, dumbbell sets, dip stands, and an adjustable weight bench.
But please, whatever you do, don't get a multi station home gym.
