I have a very quick snack recipe for you today: Cottage cheese almond cinnamon mix. I created this healthy snack recipe due to the need for quick snacks that are very nutritious.
All you have to do to make this a quick snack is to make sure you have all the ingredients in your kitchen. Once you do… get them out, mix them up, and eat.
This is a high protein recipe that I like to have before bed due to the casein protein within the cottage cheese. Casein protein is a slow release protein that provides your body with a steady release of amino acids for many hours to come.
When you add almonds, dried cranberries, raisins, and cinnamon to the cottage cheese you have created a powerful muscle building and fat burning snack.
