Warning: You've got to follow the guidelines exactly and be sure to stay away from failure. Keep intensity low for this program. You'll look great and feel great. Your vacation is going to be the best one you've ever had.
What you're going to be doing is very high volume and very frequent workouts with a very low intensity. If you raise intensity too high, you're going to go backwards in terms of progress. Just keep the intensity very low. Think and be aware while you're working out and stop each set at least a rep or two short of failure.
I'm telling you to think while you're working out because many of you are accustomed to that very intense style of working out. I've caught myself pushing a little too hard during workouts in which I was supposed to stop a few reps short of failure. So pay attention during your workouts and take it easy.
You're going to workout 6 times per week and work each muscle group 3 times per week. This program is only going to last a few weeks and should be completed so that your last workout is the day before you leave for vacation.
The program I want you to follow is 7.8 (Double frequency 6-day low intensity max volume workout program) in the WLC Workouts manual. Do that, and you'll look your absolute best for an upcoming event.
