Did you enter your measurements for your initial body assessment into your log book?
If so, you will have an average for your suprailiac skin fold measurement.
Make Sure You Measured Your Suprailiac Skinfold FIRST
Below you will find a link to a page. There you will see a table of suprailiac skin fold measurements and corresponding body fat percentages for certain age groups.
Go to the age group you are in by looking across the top of the table. Then go down to the row in which you find your average of the suprailiac measurements.
Your corresponding body fat percentage will be right there.
Then Use the Body Fat Percentage Tables to Look Up YOURS
I want you to remember this number and record it in your WLC Log Book.
You should record:
1. Date
2. Time
3. Average Suprailiac Skin Fold Measurement
4. Body Fat Percentage
You will use this same method every time you take measurements to find your body fat percentage.
Use the Same Method Every Time and Make Sure Your Measurements Are Repeatable (Precision)
The actual accuracy of the number is not THAT important … the important thing here is that you use the same method each time to measure your progress.
Here's the link to the Body Fat Percentage Tables.
