The best type of food is food that hasn’t been processed and is completely natural. This means no preservatives, no added sugar, no added pesticides, nothing. You need to be eating foods that haven’t been manufactured in some food manufacturing plant.
The best food is food that you grow and produce yourself. You can actually have your own little vegetable garden and herb garden. They don’t take up too much space. Starting out small is good, and you’ll learn to appreciate what it takes to produce truly healthy foods.
If you have just a 0.25 acre, you can provide so much food for you and your family. You can save lots of money too and improve your health and well-being even further. Read more about mini farming so you can get started as soon as possible. Once you grow your first vegetable, your eyes will be opened. Compare that vegetable to the one you find in a grocery store. You’ll see and taste a HUGE difference. I was shocked when I witnessed the same thing.
Our food supply is horrible. We need to take action and begin growing our own foods and supporting all local farmers. Small farms provide great food that is very nutritious compared to ANY processed foods or foods from huge commercial farms. Huge commercial farms are all about making money and could care less about the nutrients in your food. We need our farmers. Help them, support them, and make sure they know you appreciate everything they do.
Local farmers can provide meats like chicken, beef, bison, rabbit, pork, goat, and more. You can also find raw milk from cows and goats from local farmers. You can purchase crop shares and get your own share of fruits and vegetables from them. You can visit your local farmer’s market to find many farmers in your area.
This is what you need to do. Go searching for local farms in your area. You can use the Local Harvest website to help you find local farms in the United States. If you are from another country, I hope there are some local directories to help you find farmers in your area.
Remember, all of the food grown by you or farmers locally will have many more nutrients. You can take a carrot that you grow and compare that carrot to one in a grocery store. The difference in color and taste will be amazing. As another example, take an egg from a pasture raised chicken and compare it to one in a chain grocery store. Look at the color of the yolk. The egg from the pasture-raised chicken will be bright orange while the grocery store egg will be a dull yellow. Huge difference in nutrients.
And please don't forget that WHOLE EGGS are very healthy and nutritious for you.
