You will perform a weekly assessment before you start the program (initial assessment) and at the end of every week — including the last week of the program.
During the weekly assessment, you will take measurements. You will use your body weight and your body fat percentage to see how much lean mass you have gained and how much body fat you have lost.
Make Sure Your Waist Measurement isn't Increasing
You will take a look at your measurements to make sure your waist measurement isn’t increasing.
Usually, a decrease in waist size means you are losing fat while an increase means you are gaining some fat. This could be muscle gain in the waist area too so that's we rely on a combination of the waist measurement and the suprailiac fat skin fold.
No Changes to Your Diet if Making Good Progress
If you are making good progress, you might not make any changes to your diet.
If your progress has slowed, you will definitely make some changes to your diet… probably an increase to the next calorie level which you will soon learn more about.
The Weekly Assessment is a Requirement of the WLC System
The weekly assessment is a requirement. The measurements must be taken first thing in the morning. You need a few minutes of extra time on the weekly assessment day to decide on what changes (if any) to make.
This weekly assessment is what sets the WLC System apart from any other muscle building and fat burning system out there. So make sure you take this seriously and perform the assessment each week.
If you aren't doing a weekly assessment, you aren't following the WLC System.
There are NO FAILURES When Using the WLC System
I want to make something 100% clear to you, though. This is VERY important. You will never take ANY week as a failure even if you’re results have decreased. Instead, you’re going to take what you’ve learned as a positive and make changes to turn your progress around for the good.
With the WLC System, you are always moving forward and making progress. If you have any negative results, you will be able to figure out why. Most of the time, this is going to be your food or even drink choices. Just a pack of sweetener here or there could be hurting your overall progress. And yes, the small details do matter!
Never get down on yourself no matter what. You will make amazing progress! And there is no other option. Get that in your head. It’s true. Make it happen.
