I see and get so many questions about weight lifting routines for women.
I want to set everyone straight once and for all about weight lifting for women.
I had to write this article because it's been bugging me so much lately.
It's absolutely mind boggling seeing some of the advice out there given to young women and women in general. Weight lifting is a must if you want to get a toned and sexy body.
Not sure why so many women would want to stay weak and have no muscle mass.
Women should be lifting weights too and getting strong. It makes life so much easier. Women should not fall for the lies about weight lifting making them huge and muscular.
You will not get huge and muscular from lifting weights. Not going to happen.
Are Weight Lifting Routines For Women So Much Different?
Why does everyone, including some women, think that women are so much different than men when it comes to lifting weights?
Some women weight lifters probably go crazy hearing and seeing all the bad information out there about weight lifting routines for women. It really is ridiculous!!!
We all work the same when it comes to lifting weights, building muscle, and losing fat. There is no difference except for the environment inside our bodies.
But, we can't do anything about the environment inside of our bodies. This environment simply makes it easier for men to build muscle. This does not make the muscle building process different. It just makes it easier for men to add muscle mass.
The only way a woman can look more like a man is to take drugs that will change the environment within her body.
The huge women bodybuilders that look nasty are taking drugs. They may say they aren't but they are and they know they are. When their voice begins to change, then you really know they are on drugs.
We All Lift Weights To Build Muscle
We lift weights to build muscle and get stronger. No matter if you're man or woman, we all lift weights to build muscle and get stronger.
Why else would we lift weights? There's no reason to have different weight lifting routines for women than men.
I think some men get intimidated by a woman that lifts weights just because they're scared that the woman might be stronger than themselves. Absolutely ridiculous. Check this woman out deadlifting over 480 pounds for 6 reps! She makes it look easy…
So, I want everyone to stop thinking that women are so much different than men when it comes to weight lifting. It is very annoying.
We are all here to lift weights, build muscle, and get stronger. If you're here to lose fat, you should still be focusing on getting stronger in the gym.
Getting stronger and building muscle will lead to more fat loss and easier fat loss.
Some women do have goals of fat loss when they say they want to tone up. There is no such thing as toning muscle. Women really mean that they want to lose fat while maintaining their muscle mass.
This gives an appearance of toning up. So, you must lift weights while losing fat to keep all of your muscle mass. Keeping your muscle mass helps you to lose fat faster
Weight Lifting Routines For Women
Weight lifting routines, as I've discussed before, are useless because they are usually single workouts with no plan for progression of any kind!
If you have no plan to progress, why are you lifting weights, eating well, and doing your cardio?
You want to get a better body, right? You want to get stronger, right? You want to have less fat, right?
Lift weights to progress. Get stronger and build muscle by progressing. Fat loss will be much faster and much easier with weight lifting.
How do you progress? Well, you start a good weight lifting program designed to help you progress.
The WLC System is designed to help you progress. You will start out lifting a lighter weight for more reps at the beginning of each WLC cyle, and you'll end lifting a much heavier weight for lower reps at the end of the WLC cycle.
You will build muscle along the way. And that new muscle will lead to increased fat loss.
There's no need for any useless workout routines. You'll have a plan from the beginning of each weight lifting cycle to the end of each cycle with the WLC System. The plan will help you to progress, get stronger, and build muscle.
If you're trying to lose weight, a weight lifting program will make your efforts even easier. You'll get to where you want to be much faster, and you'll be able to keep that fat off.
Muscle burns calories. The more muscle you have, the more calories you're burning. Start weight lifting today. I guarantee that you'll love it.
One More Just For Fun
That's over 400 pounds there. Great bench there and a very strong woman. One note that I'd like to make about the videos: the women in the videos are powerlifters.
They train for strength. They do not care what their bodies look like as much as you or a fitness model. They want pure strength. I simply wanted to show everyone that women are strong and can lift heavy weight just like men.
Weight Lifting Complete focuses on building muscle, losing fat, and getting the body you've always wanted. You will get stronger and you will focus on getting stronger every workout.
You will lift weights to get stronger in the muscle building rep ranges and not the strength building rep ranges. Lifting weights in the muscle building rep ranges will result in a better looking body. You will also eat a healthy diet conducive to fat loss and muscle gain.
